We’re happy to present the cooperation between Swedish hard core metal act Intohimo and Fender. Armed with Fender guitars and bases they have rocked their way across all of Europe and got we got a chance to talk to Albin the guitarist of the band.

Much has happened since you won the "Best Unsigned Act Award" at the Swedish National IndieAwards in 2006. What have been the highlights of musical career with Intohimo so far?
- The highlight of all time definitely was when our second album Us; the Hollows went all the way up to number 15 on the Swedish charts. That was pretty sick!
How would you describe the music you are playing?
- Hard-hitting music with catchy refrains and heavy break-downs!
What Fender gear do you use?
- INTOHIMO use Fender Tele American Deluxe, Fender Tele Baja and Fender Jazz Bass.
The Fender Telecaster® is not the most commonly used metal guitar, even though you make it fit just perfect, how does it perform live?
- It's awesome live! No other guitar can make our melodies step up as the Telecaster. We've never been the band who'd search for the sound of the common stereotype metalband. We wanted something much more special and unique than what you'd get from your average metal axe, therefore Telecaster was the natural choice.
What can we expect from Intohimo this year?
- For us to take over the world! That's pretty much the plan. It's going to be somewhat intense in 2010, but fun! We have three tours for the first half of 2010, and we're super excited about it! Second half of 2010 will definitely top everything we've experienced so far if it goes as planned. But what to come then is still a secret.
